কিছু চাই

কারোর কিছু চাই গো চাই ?

এই যে খোকা, কি নেবে ভাই?

জলছবি আর লাট্টু লাটাই

কেক বিস্কুট লাল দেশলাই

খেলনা বাঁশি কিংবা ঘুড়ি

লেড্‌ পেনসিল রবার ছুরি?

এসব আমার কিছুই নাই,

কারোর কিছু চাই গো চাই?

বৌমা কি চাও শুনতে পাই?

ছিটের কাপড় চিকন লেস্‌

ফ্যান্সি জিনিস ছুঁচের কেস্‌

আল্‌তা সিঁদুর কুন্তলীন

কাঁচের চুড়ি বোতাম পিন্‌?

আমার কাছে ওসব নাই,

কারোর কিছু চাই গো চাই?

আপনি কি চান কর্তামশাই?

পকেট বই কি খেলার তাস

চুলের কলপ জুতোর ব্রাশ্‌

কলম কালি গঁদের তুলি

নস্যি চুরুট সুর্তি গুলি?

ওসব আমার কিছুই নাই,

কারোর কিছু চাই গো চাই?

জাগো রে তরুণ জাগো রে ছাত্রদল

স্বতঃ উৎসারিত ঝর্ণাধারায় প্রায় জাগো প্রাণ-চঞ্চল

ভেদ-বিভেদের গ্লানির কারা-প্রাচীর

ধুলিসাৎ করি জাগো উন্নত শির

জবাকুসুম-সঙ্কাশ জাগে বীর,

বিধি নিষেধের ভাঙ্গো ভাঙ্গো অর্গল।

ধর্ম বর্ণ জাতির ঊর্ধ্বে জাগো রে নবীন প্রাণ

তোমার অভ্যুদয়ে হোক সব বিরোধের অবসান

সঙ্কীর্ণতা ক্ষুদ্রতা ভোলো ভোলো

সকল মানুষে ঊর্ধ্বে ধরিয়া তোলো

তোমাদের চাহে আজ নিখিল জনসমাজ

আনো জ্ঞানদীপ এই তিমিরের মাঝ,

বিধাতার সম জাগো প্রেম প্রোজ্জ্বল।

লিচু চোর

কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম

বাবুদের তাল-পুকুরে

হাবুদের ডাল-কুকুরে

সে কি বাস করলে তাড়া,

বলি থাম একটু দাড়া।

পুকুরের ঐ কাছে না

লিচুর এক গাছ আছে না

হোথা না আস্তে গিয়ে

য়্যাব্বড় কাস্তে নিয়ে

গাছে গো যেই চড়েছি

ছোট এক ডাল ধরেছি,

ও বাবা মড়াত করে

পড়েছি সরাত জোরে।

পড়বি পড় মালীর ঘাড়েই,

সে ছিল গাছের আড়েই।

ব্যাটা ভাই বড় নচ্ছার,

ধুমাধুম গোটা দুচ্চার

দিলে খুব কিল ও ঘুষি

একদম জোরসে ঠুসি।

আমিও বাগিয়ে থাপড়

দে হাওয়া চাপিয়ে কাপড়

লাফিয়ে ডিঙনু দেয়াল,

দেখি এক ভিটরে শেয়াল!

সেকি ভাই যায় রে ভুলা-

মালীর ঐ পিটুনিগুলা!

কি বলিস ফের হপ্তা!

তৌবা-নাক খপ্তা!

অবাক কাণ্ড

সুকুমার রায়

শুন্‌ছ দাদা! ঐ যে হোথায় বদ্যি বুড়ো থাকে,

সে নাকি রোজ খাবার সময় হাত দিয়ে ভাত মাখে?

শুন্‌ছি নাকি খিদেও পায় সারাদিন না খেলে?

চক্ষু নাকি আপনি বোজে ঘুমটি তেমন পেলে?

চল্‌তে গেলে ঠ্যাং নাকি তার ভূয়েঁর পরে ঠেকে?

কান দিয়ে সব শোনে নাকি? চোখ দিয়ে সব দেখে?

শোয় নাকি সে মুণ্ডটাকে শিয়র পানে দিয়ে?

হয় না কি হয় সত্যি মিথ্যা চল্‌ না দেখি গিয়ে!

ছিন্নমুকুল

সত্যেন্দ্রনাথ দত্ত

সবচেয়ে যে ছোট পিড়ি খানি
সেখানি আর কেউ রাখেনা পেতে,
ছোটথালায় হয় নাকো ভাতবাড়া
জল ভরে না ছোট্ট গেলাসেতে।
বাড়ির মধ্যে সবচেয়ে যে ছোট
খাবার বেলা কেউ ডাকে না তাকে।
সবচেয়ে যে শেষে এসেছিল,
তারই খাওয়া ঘুচেছে সব আগে।

সবচেয়ে যে অল্পে ছিল খুশি,
খুশি ছিল ঘেষাঘেষির ঘরে,
সেই গেছে হায়, হাওয়ার সঙ্গে মিশে,
দিয়ে গেছে জায়গা খালি করে।
ছেড়ে গেছে পুতুল, পুঁতির মালা,
ছেড়ে গেছে মায়ের কোলের দাবি।
ভয়ভরা সে ছিল যে সব চেয়ে
সেই খুলেছে আঁধার ঘরের চাবি।

হারিয়ে গেছে, হারিয়ে গেছে ওরে!
হারিয়ে গেছে 'বোল' বলা সেই বাঁশি
দুধে ধোওয়া কচি সে মুখখানি
আঁচল খুলে হঠাৎ স্রোতের জলে
ভেসে গেছে শিউলী ফুলের রাশি,
ঢুকেছে হায় শশ্মান ঘরের মাঝে
ঘর ছেড়ে হায় হৃদয় শশ্মানবাসী।

সবচেয়ে যে ছোট কাপড়গুলি
সেইগুলি কেউ দেয় না মেলে ছাদে,
যে শয্যাটি সবার চেয়ে ছোট,
আজকে সেটি শূন্য পড়ে কাঁদে।
সবচেয়ে যে শেষে এসেছিল
সেই গিয়েছে সবার আগে সরে।
ছোট্ট যে জন ছিল রে সবচেয়ে,
সেই দিয়েছে সকল শূন্য করে।
